WHY SPAY OR NEUTER?
Thousands of companion animals are euthanized in Nevada each year due to overcrowding in shelters. The best way you can help control the pet population is to spay or neuter your dog or cat. Please do not breed while so many animals are losing their lives. And in Clark County… it’s the law!
Did you know that spaying or neutering your pet can prevent medical problems later on? Serious health concerns such as testicular cancer or mammary tumors can be life threatening. Uterine infections can be painful and costly to treat.
Has your male dog been marking? Does your male cat spray to mark his territory? Are your females more aggressive toward other pets at certain times? There are many behavioral issues that can be eliminated, or at least greatly reduced, by sterilizing your pet.

We assist pet owners who are unable to afford sterilization surgeries for their dogs or cats. At the same time, we provide information regarding animal welfare to ensure more humane treatment for pets who have been bred, animals who live outdoors, and pets who aren’t receiving proper nourishment.
